I am lecturer in Inclusion, Childhood and Youth at the School of Education. My practice background is in youth and children’s work, which led to researching areas of professional ethics in youth work using ethnographic methods. That led to an interest in participatory and creative methods with children and young people, recently producing an ‘Active Travel Toolkit’ to engage in participatory research with young people. However I’ve also been involved in large quantitative projects, and have an interest in the use of psychometric scales in educational research, and the use of structural equation modelling.
