Dr Bassey Ebenso

Bassey is an interdisciplinary social scientist, and an Associate Professor of International Health based in Leeds Institute of Health Sciences, with expertise in complex intervention evaluation and theory driven approaches (e.g., realist evaluation), and a career devoted to health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income countries.

Bassey has interests in diverse methods with an emphasis on combining mixed and innovative methods with community-based participatory research approaches for understanding the organization/delivery of healthcare services and addressing neighborhood-level needs of vulnerable groups.
